How much is an LA Fitness membership?

I just moved to Milwaukee and had a chance to peek in the Bayshore LA Fitness. I didn’t have time to tour it so I didn’t get any membership quotes. Does anyone have a membership there and can let me know the membership fees?

At my place it’s $50 initiation fee and $29.99 per month. When you walk in LA fitness, there are sale representatives that come up to you, trying to give you deals for their club. They will start out with an outrageous price like $150 initiation fee with $29.99 per month. You would have to bargain with them in order for them to lower their fees. Even when they sound desperate and say that this deal will only last for today, it’s probably BS.

Are there any Russian sambo schools in the Milwaukee, WI area?

I’m looking for more self discipline, and physical fitness in my life. This martial art seems to be a good fit with who I am. I believe it will also help me connect more with my Russian heritage.

I used to live in Milwaukee while going to school at MIAD, you will not find any truly qualified instructors to train you in sambo in the area.

Best bet is take the short drive to Chicago and train there. They have a few gyms that teach and train you in the sport of sambo. (Chicago has a large russian population)

Andrei Arlovski the former UFC heavyweight champion and currently ranked 4th in the heavyweight division lives and trains in Chicago.
He is known as the best sambo practitioner besides for Fedor Emelianenko.

He used to train at POW I still think he trains a little there but now he is more privately trained.

You can get unlimited membership for $129 a month with a year commitment. It’s a very good deal because you get all of your gear..gloves,wraps,shin guards and mouthpiece.

They also have a 2x a week course that is $110 a month.

I have trained here before I moved to Miami and they are VERY good.

If you don’t like driving back and forth you can take a greyhound bus round trip for about 25-30 bucks total!
