Has anyone used Energy Fitness in Fort Worth, TX?
I’m looking for a good gym, in the east Fort Worth area preferably. Has anyone used Energy Fitness in Fort Worth? Is there anywhere else you would recommend. I prefer not to use the big chain gyms.
Energy Fitness is a concept Health Club gone wrong.
First the price for membership is high yet they do not offer half what Larry North’s, LA Fitness or 24hr Fitness offers.
It is crowded and cramped with many schedule changes for the classes.
Good instructors do not seem to stick around and the staff is unfriendly and not very helpful.
Canceling your membership takes an act of congress.
All in all there are a lot better gyms for half the price of a membership and you will get tons more for your money.

1/2 mile and 40 yard dash times?
I’m a 14 yr. old girl and in gym our fitness testing is 1/2 mile and 40yd. dash.
my times were: 1/2mile: 3:28
40yd: 6.09 secondss
are those normal?
yea those are about average for someone who is an athlete. but in overall counting every single person that is your age you’d probably be in the top 80%

Haven’t received July Fitness Magazine issue yet?
Has anyone in Canada received their July issue of Fitness Magazine yet? I haven’t - and it never takes this long for my magazine subscriptions to arrive in the mail! I think the issue is possibly for July and August, but even still…it’s the middle of July already! Should I be concerned?
Give it a few days, I’d be concerned if it hasn’t arrived a week though. Do you know anyone who lives in the same area who also subscribes to the magazine? You could ask if they have received it. You could also call the magazine and ask.
