rain fitness seattle

When I move to Seattle…will I need…?
I plan on moving to Seattle in about a year. I need advice from someone who knows the area. Fitness is very important to me. I currently live in Texas, which has a warm climate. So, for exercise I have gotten use to jogging/running outside. When I move to Seattle, I’m wondering if I should invest in an exercise bike, due to the rain? How often do you think I’d be able to actually do my jogging/running outside? Do you think I should get an exercise bike when I move there?
I absolutely love the rain. So a majority of the time, couldn’t I just jog in it? I wouldn’t exercise everyday, so I could miss a day or two each week.
I’m not into gyms or anything. I was just wondering if I should get an exercise bike to rely on for the rainy days, but if it’s usually just a sprinkle, I could handle it right?
Avid Seattle runners (like myself) have no problem taking a jaunt in the rain. As mentioned before, a lot of our rain is a drizzle or a “mist” - so its actually pretty refreshing. I usually just wear normal shorts and a long sleeve tshirt - knowing I’m going to get pretty soaked.
If you’re a die-hard runner, you should be able to run just about every day of the year, since it rarely gets super cold in the winter.
A gym membership is great for those days when it’s raining really hard.

fitness clothing women

Why do some women wear clothing so tight you can see everything underneath?
Especially, some who’d probably benefit from a good fitness or fashion consultant.
Several possible reasons:
They want you to see everything.
They do not look in the mirror.
They are a size 18 but buy size 8 to make them feel better.
They think they are being sexy.
They have no self confidence of who they really are.
Their moms dressed that way and that is how they were taught to dress.

Man wearing women’s fitness apparel?
Hi, recently i’ve been trying to get into shape. Ive been trying different exercise routines, and didnt like any of them, until i decided to give a shot at a women’s aerobics video. I really enjoyed the workout and felt energized and have been doing a lot of it, high impact women’s aerobics. The only thing is im now interested in buying the right clothing. I dont really care for mens sports apparel, and i also want to feel like im wearing the clothes that fit into the workout im doing (it is women’s aerobics after all). I like the look of the clothes too. Are there any women out there who could point me in the right direction as to wear to buy these clothes. What are some of my options? what fabrics are good? what about shoes? what brands are best and what style of clothes are best. also would there be negative impacts of me wearing these clothes (yes i do live alone so no one would see me.) thanks for your help
Hi, Mike! Just go to your local sports type store (like Academy Sports) and browse the women’s department until you find what you’re looking for. Eyeball it, though — don’t hold it up against you unless you’re prepared to get some ‘looks’! Best wishes on the exercise program!
