I live in Dallas, TX and I am really interested in joining a yoga class but I’m really new to the whole fitness club thing and I don’t know what I’ll need to do. I don’t know where would be a good place to go (24 Hour Fitness, Lifetime… etc.) and I don’t know what I am looking for. Are yoga classes like 2 times a week or do you have to pay for different ones. I am only 17 so I don’t want to spend 100$ a month that I don’t have. I know I am being confusing but basically I just want to know WHERE I can take a beginners yoga class, and any other basic information I would need to know before signing up. Thanks!
No problem visit http://www.dfwmeditation.org/ now and you will get all your answers. It’s free, easy and once a week. No sign up needed.
Im relocating to Dallas/Fortworth Area in Texas and I need a GYM!?
Im relocating to Dallas/Fortworth Area in Texas and I have been a long time member of LifeStyle Family fitness. I am having a hard time finding a gym that has child care services and is like a very good personal and good customer service gym that makes me feel like more then a member. Any one know of any gyms?
I don’t know what you expect by feeling “more than a member?” but I agree with other poster, you cannot beat the YMCA. What I love about my Y is how many class options are offered. I also think places like 24-hour fitness and other national chains offer child care.
You might talk to LifeStyle to see if they have “sister facilities” in the area. They also might have a national directory that shows services.

where can I find information about health screenings, and wellness programs and health insurance companies?
I have a homework assignment that requires me to gather info about health screenings, fitness center amenities, self-improvement classes, and wellness program benefits. Any and all help is appreciated!
Either go to your public library and scan the books in the sections you have mentioned, or google them up. Either way you’ll get lots of info.
