I’m planning on majoring in pyschology, this is just for my 1st year in community college
Yoga for your PE Class.
Aerobic Dance and Pilates will help you lose weight, but they are far from easy and I found them too strainful. The Fitness Center (without a personal trainer) will probably just make you accidentally gain muscle instead of lose weight, and if it’s not organized you probably won’t have motivation to actually do workout.
Art depends… They all sound fun. Unless it’s your major though, I would go with photography, because it’s so useful in real life.

Oh you no, another fitness question…girls i need your help?
Hey Girls, I no we see these questions all over the forums, but I need some opinions, preferably someone who has gone through this issue. I have a under active thyroid, so over the past few years I have gained a fair amount of weight. I am 5′7 and about 145 pounds. I no its not overweight, but its a lot of my mid section and thighs (you no where it all goes lol)and plus I am going to keep gaining it, so i need to do something… so I started working out last year and I lost a lot of weight..in my boobs…so i stopped because I got the pear look. So my mom got me some work out dvds for Christmas and I really want to work out, but I fear I will only lose my boobs. Anyone go through this, anything…any suggestions?
Thanks! =)
yeahh i know how you feel! i keep gaining & losing weight like a yo-yo it’s annoying. and i usually lose it in my boobs cause that is the first place. you need to just build muscle. make sure you are eating healthy. the work out dvds will help you build muscle & you will probably gain weight from that but your clothes will fit looser. buy some free weights to lift at dunhams too
Can you tell me the name of this old TV show about Bodybuilding?
I remember watching it about 15 years or so ago. It was a fitness show with 3 bodybuilders working out. One guy was young with Dark Hair. The other was an old buff dude and the 3rd was a woman. They were all huge and ripped. I can’t find the name or video of it anywhere. I think Lee Haney was even on it sometimes….Can you help me?
Both are incorrect. It’s “Bodyshaping” (once an ESPN mid-morning staple; repeats are sporadically shown on ESPN Classic).
Liquor question, What is the best for low calorie and low carb?
I want to get my husband a good bottle of liquor as a surprise. He is very fitness oriented. Yet he loves a good scotch or cognac after dinner. One scotch that he orders is Lagavulin. What is the best bet calorie and carb wise? Scotch, Rum, Vodka, Cognac?
most NON-FLAVORED spirits are between 70-100 calories per serving (1 oz). these would include: Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, and Brandy. Doesn’t matter if its dark or light… dark has just been aged in a wooden barrel… and that DOESN’T add carbs/calories.
and contain no carbs.
avoid the flavored ones, like spiced rum, apple vodka, etc, since they have flavorings and sweeteners added.
if you don’t like those strait, you can add artifically sweetened sodas or juices to them.
