fitness instructor jobs abroad

April 17th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

How can I move abroad for free?

I am tired of my life, I hate my job, I hate the place I live, I hate the modern world. I want to move to a less technologically advanced place and live a simple life, but I don’t have any money or any useful qualifications. I have a third-class BA in philosophy and am a qualified fitness instructor but they aren’t very useful. I want to move to a less technologically advanced country, I don’t care about having lots of money, as long as I’ve got somewhere to live and food that’s good enough for me. I’ve looked into volunteering abroad schemes but 1. you have to pay for most of them and 2. they are usually short-term. Can anyone think of a way I can go permanently and for free? I’m not bothered where, somewhere in Asia would be good I guess.
Actually I would love to live in Peru. I don’t want to teach though, I’d rather have a physical job.

Moving abroad is generally not easy and I’m not aware of anything that would be free. As a minimum, you would need to go through the visa process to get permission to immigrate. That will generally require you to show that you have the resources to support yourself where you want to live.

You need to have some plan for how you would support yourself and then do some research to find a place that interests you. You might look into the expat websites for various countries that might interest you. You can find them by doing a simple search for “expat” and the name of the country you’re interested in. These can give you a pretty good idea of what daily life is like and how to get started in a new place. You also need to find someplace where you know or are willing to learn the language.

Fitness Boot Camp?

I’m just wondering if anyone here has ever participated in a “fitness boot camp” and how it worked out for you. My gym is offering a boot camp and I’ve never tried one, but I’m willing to give it a shot in hopes that I can fit into my size 14 shorts for my vacation in March. Any advice?

I did, and it was great. It’s all about what you put into it though. You want to work as hard as you can.

fitness walking poles

Opinions pls. Best way to get fit…Wii Fit, pole dancing, nordic walking poles, free weights?

I am perplexed.

I’m 46…lost 80 lbs…yay!

Now I don’t know the fastest and best way to get really fit and toned.

I am considering pole dancing for fitness, nordic walking poles, free weights with a walking program or WII fit (which costs more and I’m a bit $ strapped right now).

Ideas? Any other helpful suggestions are appreciated.

I don’t just want to keep the weight off…I want to look really fit and toned, as I have lost weight just through walking before, but I was never toned and firm and strong or felt like I had a sexy body if you understand what I mean.

Thank you so much!

Dancing would be the most fun way and if you like it it sure to keep doing it which will keep it off.

Best hotel fitness centers in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen?

Anyone know which hotel has the BEST fitness center in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen? Or which hotels have bad or skimpy gyms and should be avoided at all costs since we only looking to stay at a place with a good fitness facility?

We are looking to turn our 8 day stay into a fitness/wellness vacation and looking for a hotel with a great gym, sauna, and/or steam room. Also a place with regular workout classes would be great. Any ideas on how to create a fitness vacation in Cancun or Playa?

The Royal Playa del Carmen-All Inclusive has a nice fitness center, but staying there isn’t cheap. I’m not sure if there are fitness centers throughout Playa del Carmen so if you really want a decent exercise place, this would be it.
