I am in the chicago area and would like to know the prices for LA Fitness in Illinois. Specifically in Tinley, Park. Thank you.
Well I am not in Illinois but I joined LAFitness back in July in Florida & I basically paid a one time $149 for like activation/ registration whatever u call it fee……. & my monthly membership is $35+ tax…….. The sale associate gave the price of $50 per month at first but the manager lower it to $35 when I said is kind of expensive & I don’t think I can afford it etc etc etc……. JUST REMEMBER THEY WANT MORE MEMBERS!!!!!!!! Same go for their personal training services ( try to sale for $50 a 30 mins session but I got a lower price ) Good Luck =)
Does anyone know of a really good sports motivational desktop background?
I’ve looked for hours to find the perfect sports (american football, basketball, track or just a general fitness picture) motivational poster, I’ve searched google and searched websites and just cant find one that catches my eye. It doesn’t have to have a sporting picture it could just a quote that involves motivation, working hard, dreams, never give up etc.
Please can somebody help because this is driving me nuts lol
I suppose you can get one at www.yanksguide.com. well visit it and get it.
What clothing styles can accent my physical fitness but still be appropriate?
I’m interviewing for jobs that require physical agility/strength, jobs that often tend to employ large men. I’m a short woman who looks skinny in most kinds of clothes. Most people don’t assume I’m very strong. In actuality, I’m physically fit, and a little buff, but this doesn’t show unless I’m in workout clothes or a swimsuit. Are sleeveless shirts appropriate to ANY interview, or is there a sleeve style that will highlight my toned arms? What kind of clothes will highlight my muscle tone and physical condition while still being appropriate for a job interview? [Oh and I don't want to look SLUTTY, either.]
It seems like most clothing out there other than workout clothes, is meant for women with one kind of build… those “cap sleeves” for example are a joke because they’re too tight on my arms, and a lot of pants out there end up too tight on my thighs yet too baggy around the waist!
For a job interview, maybe you should wear a knee length skirt– you can show off your calves without looking trashy.
As for a shirt, I think anything that looks nice and fits well will do. Since this is an interview, I would wear a jacket or blazer. If you don’t have access to anything like this, a sweater would work too.
Don’t worry as much about LOOKING muscular, just make sure you mention how strong you are in the interview. They’ll often ask you about your hobbies– mention you love working out, tell them how much you can bench press
i am trying to stay healthy, but after a month i could use some motivation
i am looking for some cute quotes and tips related to womens fitness and health to put on the top of a page for my daily journal entries of eating an exercising.

When I was 40, my doctor advised me that a man in his 40s shouldn’t play tennis. I heeded his advice carefully and could hardly wait until I reached 50 to start again.
