Most home office forces entrance fitness tests are ‘bleep tests’ or ’shuttle runs’ as they are sometimes called. The level required changes but is quite low overall, check www.policecouldyou.co.uk for up to date info.
Some forces however have different tests such as West Midlands Police who use what i would call a ‘mini’ indoor assault course. Forces who dont use the bleep test are few and far between and your best bet is to speak with your chosen forces recruitment team.

Moving to the Detroit Metro Area SUBURBS (nice area) of Michigan wondering if there are many jobs within that area as a fitness/personal trainer. Looked on all of the job sites and found NOTHING!!! Anyone know a place that’s fairly easy to get in because I just got certified, and also how much do they pay their employees??
You found nothing because there are no jobs in Michigan right now and there haven’t been since just after 9/11. Our help wanted ads went from 2-3 full pages to about 4 ads total (like 1/50 of a page). It’s ridiculous. Michigan is #1 in unemployment.
how do UK fitness instructors make a living in the UK considering the reasonably small salary?
I don’t mean to be disrespectful but I was just looking at the average wage for a fitness instructor (14K) with possible career change in mind and was quite surprised at the low pay. Is this really the average?

Physical Therapist, Nutritionist and Chiropractor all require graduate degrees. You can get into a Chiropractic college after a 2-year degree just make sure that you take all of the required prerequisites that the Chiropractic college requires.

Im in college and want a career in fitness/health (personal trainer) but want something that pays better than your regular 24 hour fitness training job. I just dont know where to start or what courses to take to be in this type of work and still get paid well.
Well for now thats the place to start. Maybe you can be a personal fitness person or something. You have to start somewhere.
