Can anyone tell me which is the best gym to go to: Bally’s, 24-hr Fitness or LA Fitness?
I want to get a gym membership, and I’m trying to decide between Bally’s, 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness. Does anyone have any specific experiences, like membership difficulties, etc. involving any of these gyms? I go out of the country from a couple of months out of each year, so I need a gym that’s flexible in that regard.
By the way, I live in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area), in case anyone is familiar with the clubs specific to this area.
my sister in law used to be a manager @ Bally’s and has a lot of horror stories about the lack of security and cleanliness there.
Ive never had any experience with LA Fitness, but I havent heard anything negative about it either.
I am currently a member of 24hour fitness and I love it. But then again, its very convenient for me to go there (its a half mile from my home) and I have a wierd schedule and they work with me on that.
If I were you, I would see about getting a 7 day pass from each place (not all for the same week of course) and keep a short journal of the pros and cons of each place…then make a decision that is best for you. work out there, get a feel for the place and its employees, and then choose based upon which gym YOU like the best.

My fiancee and i are looking at moving. We want to move somewhere that is a small town but there is a great chance that we can find employment there, my fiancee works in the fitness industry and plastering and i work in customer service, however we will be happy with any job. We want this place to have reasonably priced rent, a town that is under the radar not overly populated. Anywhere from the country to the beach is fine!
Thanks.
By the way we would like somwhere in Queensland or New South Wales or Northern Territory in Australia

I prefer Current fast past music and even dance remixes, trying to stay away from the typical “Eye of the Tiger,” “Metalica,” and other obvious songs. Suggestions please?
Sample of current songs:
Theme from Casino Royal
several from Keene, Killers, and Marroon 5
Madonna, Robbie Williams, Kelly CLarkson
Mika is tons of fun - if you don’t mind that stuff.
How much money do fitness instructors make per class?
I’m looking to get certified as a fitness instructor so I can teach class part-time, and I was wondering how much an instructors make per class. Thanks!
congratz on deciding to become one, very good choice
Onto the question now, it depends where you are, tho i’m only a teen my dad is a personal trainer, he makes $50 Au per hour and he does 4 hours a day
It all depends hwere you live tho, how well you do and how dedicated you are to your job
