Can you tell me the name of this old TV show about Bodybuilding?
I remember watching it about 15 years or so ago. It was a fitness show with 3 bodybuilders working out. One guy was young with Dark Hair. The other was an old buff dude and the 3rd was a woman. They were all huge and ripped. I can’t find the name or video of it anywhere. I think Lee Haney was even on it sometimes….Can you help me?
Both are incorrect. It’s “Bodyshaping” (once an ESPN mid-morning staple; repeats are sporadically shown on ESPN Classic).

Looking for a drop in fitness class in Philadelphia?
I am occasionally in Philadelphia for business and would like to attend a drop in fitness class (Zumba, dance, cross train, aerobic) where I don’t have to join the gym. I stay in the downtown core, no car so this would have to be accessible by walking, bus or the train.
I want to say the name of the gym is living well lady but if I am wrong it is the only gym located in the Gallery in center city Philadelphia. You can get a year membership cheap, pay by month or you can pay per day I don’t know the price but their rates a very good. And they cater only to women and they have all types of classes.

Can anyone tell me which is the best gym to go to: Bally’s, 24-hr Fitness or LA Fitness?
I want to get a gym membership, and I’m trying to decide between Bally’s, 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness. Does anyone have any specific experiences, like membership difficulties, etc. involving any of these gyms? I go out of the country from a couple of months out of each year, so I need a gym that’s flexible in that regard.
By the way, I live in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area), in case anyone is familiar with the clubs specific to this area.
my sister in law used to be a manager @ Bally’s and has a lot of horror stories about the lack of security and cleanliness there.
Ive never had any experience with LA Fitness, but I havent heard anything negative about it either.
I am currently a member of 24hour fitness and I love it. But then again, its very convenient for me to go there (its a half mile from my home) and I have a wierd schedule and they work with me on that.
If I were you, I would see about getting a 7 day pass from each place (not all for the same week of course) and keep a short journal of the pros and cons of each place…then make a decision that is best for you. work out there, get a feel for the place and its employees, and then choose based upon which gym YOU like the best.

Are the fitness benefits of the YMCA worth the high cost of membership?
I know the YMCA does a great job with charitable programs. As a social worker, I really appreciate their dedication to the communities in which they serve. I’ve never worked out in their gymns, so I’m not sure if the high cost of membership is, in purely fitness terms, a good deal. Is it?
I agree that in comparison to other gyms, the YMCA is higher. But, I’ve found that unlike other gyms they have more programs for families. i.e. kids basketball, flag football, swimming programs, summer camps. They also are more community oriented in the respect that if you want to use their facilities for some type of gathering, they’ll usually let you. Most other gyms are just that…gyms. If you have a family, you can really get your moneys worth, if you are just looking to workout, it might be better to join another gym. In all honesty, it boils down to personal preference.
