When I was growing up in North Carolina, the local public school’s gym was open to the public in the evenings. This was awesome for working out and shooting hoops to stay in shape. Is this available in the Stetson Hills area - or what fitness centers/gyms have indoor courts?

they get paid like any other employee out there ………. its pretty expensive to some people as well ….. like 8 sessions where im living is like $499 …… so yea

How can I switch up my fitness routines without reaching a plateau….?
I’m trying to lose some weight about 10 to 15lbs to be exact and I wanted to know if there were excercises I could do to switch up my fitness routines… I like lifting weights and doing cardio on the tred mill… I go to LA fitness… but how do I switch it so I can do something new everyday and still manage to work out my muscles and lose weight without reaching a plateau… honest answers will be appreciated thanx.. Honestly, just switch up the regime abit in order to not plateau. Heck, even do some yoga. That stuffs intense, foreal.
Another way, when lifting weights, some days to different amounts of different weights, just do as many as you can of a lower weight, and just burn out, so to say.
If your aim is to lose weight too, I might suggest running and biking abit, aswell as cutting out the bad foods, if any left. Chips, processed stuff, anything like that, ick! Eat lean meats, chicken, fish, and carbs, like pasta, or even potatoes. This allows you to lose fat, but gain muscle.

No, why don’t you call the nearest 24 hr fitness and ask them for that information. I belong to 24 hr fitness and I do believe all of their clubs have separate steam rooms for men and women.

Check out the Men’s Health website…. They have all sorts of workout plans. Some you can print out for free and others you can download to an IPod or IPhone.
I’d specifically start looking at their “Belly Off” plans. Basic workouts and nutritional ideas to help build a foundation of fitness.
PLEASE HELP… Is it hard to get a job as a personal fitness trainer in Michigan?
Moving to the Detroit Metro Area SUBURBS (nice area) of Michigan wondering if there are many jobs within that area as a fitness/personal trainer. Looked on all of the job sites and found NOTHING!!! Anyone know a place that’s fairly easy to get in because I just got certified, and also how much do they pay their employees??
You found nothing because there are no jobs in Michigan right now and there haven’t been since just after 9/11. Our help wanted ads went from 2-3 full pages to about 4 ads total (like 1/50 of a page). It’s ridiculous. Michigan is #1 in unemployment.
