There are hundreds of infomercials for various fitness products being shown on TV. The fact is every 6 months or so the developers of these products unveil a new and improved machine which they claim is better than the previous model. Do you think these products advertise false claims?
Ex: Ab Shaper, Ab Swing, Ab Lounge,
Any of those ab things *might* strengthen your abs, but they don’t work on your lower back, which is what you also need, and they don’t burn fat, which is what you want if you are trying to flatten your stomach.
Has anyone seen TV commercial on fitness program for 12$ with no contract?
It is supposed to be a program with classes, somewhere in the U.S. I can never catch the phone number they are giving, and I did not see their web site either. It looks something like this: 1-800-USA- Lucillia. Can anyone help me find that program, please? I will appreciate it! Thank you in advance.
Its a Lucille Roberts workout program thing, and their number is 1-800-USA-Lucille.
Whats this TV fitness trainers name?? On time warner on demand..?

how do i start a tv show up? want to begin a new fitness based tv show starting it from scratch.?
if anyone can guide me in the right direction that would be appreciated….any info with regards to the making/producing/directing/shooting of a tv show, and how to go about actually getting it on the networks would be excellent. thanks.
I think you need to sell your idea to a network that is fitness oreinted. You have to be persistent and make connections with important people that know someone who works there. It can be very difficult if your not known. I really think getting an interview with someone in the network and talking to them about your idea is the only way I can think of. And you must be prepared inside and out about your idea and have a response to each question asked. There are a million fitness shows on TV and DVD…why is yours going to be so special or different?? You need to be able to respond to a question like that.
Moms - have you tried any of the different fitness products shown on tv?
I was considering something like TurboJam, but then saw the Slim In 6 commercial and that looks like something more sensible for my situation. (I need something I can do at home since I work full time, but nothing too ‘loud’ since I live in a 2nd floor apt.!) Have you tried any of the fitness products shown on tv? I always see mixed reviews on them - some people see great results, and some see none. What about you?
Tae-bo really works if you stick to it but I prefer the original Tae-bo. The ones after the original are so darn fast it is difficult to keep up with them. They are almost manic in a sense like Billy Blanks is just trying to get in as many different moves as possible without worrying about your form and if you are doing them correctly. His Boot Camp series is pretty good too. He has a resistance band that comes with it and Oh momma do you feel it the next day. If you are sore the next day, you know somehting is happening. Trade off doing aerobics and lifting weights so you don’t injure yourself. Good luck.
Who is the Latina on the new Bally Total Fitness TV commercials?
I work at a television station and just recently we have been airing spots for Bally’s Total Fitness (in the US). On the spot they have this HOT Latina lady (she has a small ponytail and wears a red exercise top)
If you have seen the commercial (it is in English), do you know who the lady is?
http://www.ballyvirtualtour.com/
Click this site. It is HER (without the ponytail)!
Her Name is Seven Boggs. She’s a fitness expert for bally total fitness and for celebrities.
no time to go to a gym so i was wonderering if anyone ever worked out with the programs they have on fit tv. and if they worked. its much easier to dvr them and do them when i have time rather than go to the gym.
Anything that gets you moving and your heart rate going will help. Add in toning work, and you have the added benefit of building more muscle, which in turn burns more calories throughout the day than other tissues!
Basically, if you’re getting exercise in any for at least 20 min a day - you’re going to see results. Different workouts appeal to different people, and also will work different body parts. When I started out working out, I did the Fitness TV workouts just like you’re saying, by recording then doing when I had time. I found some I liked, some I hated, and some that were more of a challenge, etc.
Fitting in fitness is key to good health! Good luck - it’s better to try out different workouts for free on your home tv than to waste money on a gym membership you may not use!
