i am want to carry out a fitness regime in my home, i have no fitness equipment other than some fitness dvds but i feel if i had other things to do other than fitness dvd. Only within the house! I would be really grateful if someone could tell me a plan i could carry out?
thank you!
Not exactly in your house, but cheap to do - I lost quite a lot of weight by going running 3 times a week, tough at first but good once you get in to it

Whats the best beginner workout regime to undertake? for gradual fitness and muscle mass?
I go to the GYM 3 times a week in the evening of Monday, Wednesday and Friday. for an hour to two hours.
I’m planning to towards getting my self fit and gradually putting on muscle mass.
I’m of a slim build and male.
How do i go about this?
3 times a week is perfect! and your question seems tailored just for Starting Strength:

follow that workout. it alternates between two workout sets, and focuses on compound exercises (which exercise multiple muscles at once, allowing for faster growth). its low reps, high weights, which is suitable for mass gains and strength gains.
so follow that routing, and eat a lot! youll need the calories to gain weight. youll also need to consume more protein to get that muscle mass - at least 1-2g of protein per kg of your body weight.
drink lots of water, rest plenty, and good luck

How can I switch up my fitness routines without reaching a plateau….?
I’m trying to lose some weight about 10 to 15lbs to be exact and I wanted to know if there were excercises I could do to switch up my fitness routines… I like lifting weights and doing cardio on the tred mill… I go to LA fitness… but how do I switch it so I can do something new everyday and still manage to work out my muscles and lose weight without reaching a plateau… honest answers will be appreciated thanx.. I’m also:

Honestly, just switch up the regime abit in order to not plateau. Heck, even do some yoga. That stuffs intense, foreal.
Another way, when lifting weights, some days to different amounts of different weights, just do as many as you can of a lower weight, and just burn out, so to say.
If your aim is to lose weight too, I might suggest running and biking abit, aswell as cutting out the bad foods, if any left. Chips, processed stuff, anything like that, ick! Eat lean meats, chicken, fish, and carbs, like pasta, or even potatoes. This allows you to lose fat, but gain muscle.
What do you think of my strategy for maintaining physical fitness?
I’ve been physically active since high school (Track Team). I looked around me then and saw all the fat, unhealthy looking people, and even though maintaining a good diet and exercise regimen can be tough, I developed my own strategy. What do you think? If I am going to skip working out or think about eating junk food or fatty food, I imagine myself fat and ugly and unhealthy. I have powerful visual imagery, so when I imagine myself like that, I can almost feel it. That way, whenever, I might be tempted to do something unhealthful–eating junk or skipping exercise, I just picture the consequences and I get motivated. Anyone try this or think it could help them?
Hi.
Yes, since it works for you it is a good way to get things done. Just make sure you do not overtrain as that can be very serious.
I would like to know if this program does work. I’m only looking forward to get more muscle definition, or get cut.
Yes, P90X does work…I and friends of mine are proof positive that this system does in fact work. You will definitely increase your muscle definition and you can get cut. That all depends on you though. If you have the discipline to put forth and eat clean and follow the workout and diet plan then you will definitely see the results that you are looking for from this program. You will have to bring it each day and work out hard! If you want to learn more about the program then visit my blog and I go through the whole program thoroughly. please stop by and if you have any further questions then please feel free to e-mail me.
Thanks,
Derek
